RICE DELIVERIES SHORT
(Rec. 7.30 p.m.) NANKING, June 8. The Prime Minister (Mr T. V. Soong) told the UNRRA Far Eastern Committee, on which 10 nations are represented, that supplies delivered to China, although totalling 500,000 tons, were far below the quantity needed. So far, rice deliveries were far short of the quantity allocated.
