MILKING SHORTHORN ASSOCIATION
(P.A.) WHANGAREI. June 7. The annual meeting of the Milking Shorthorn Association, held for the first time at Whangarei, elected the following officers:— President, Mr F. Bond (Palmerston North); vice-presidents, Messrs G. H. B. Lili (Ashburton), K. G. Hall (Otorohanga); secretary, Mr L. S. Green; honorary treasurer, Mr R. D. Cochrane; financial advisory committee, president, secretary, and treasurer, and Messrs K. G. Hall, C. Munnings (Canterbury), F. Bond (Palmerston North); classification committee. Messrs W. J. Slack (Manawatu), H. Hutchinson (Whangarei), W. McGowan (Waiuku). G D. Hall (Otorohanga). The following senior judges were appointed by the council:—Messrs A. Wiblin (Hukerenui), D. Dreadon (Dargaville), H. Hayward (Hawera), R M. Bennett (Inglewood), and D. Woods (Papakura). Junior judges appointed were:—Messrs A. Vickers (Horahora). A. E. Bates (Hamilton), W. Lye (Hamilton). Fortv-four hew members were elected to the association.
