He also, referred to the difficulty of retra.ilJ?d that would arise if the station were- shifted as the present workers at the station had their homes in Palmerston North The provision of buildings for the station elsewhere would also present a problem. In present citeumstances there was no prospect of shifting the station from Palmerston North.
