CONDITION OF JOCKEY IMPROVES
A. E. Ellis, who was admitted to the Auckland Hospital on June 5 and reported to be suffering from severe spinal injuries, has made rapid improvement and his condition on Saturday was reported to be not serious. He was injured when Evans Head fell with him in the Great Northern Hurdles.
