AVON CLUB R. Thomas won the Avon Amateui C.' cling Club’s 18-mile race at Harewood on Saturday afternoon, from the 21min mark. L. Crossen, w'ho covered the distahce in 44min 25sec. secured fastest time, and T. A. Nicholson was second fastest in 4omin Msec. Results;—R. Thomas (handicap 2Jmln), time, 46min 17sec. 1 E. J.
