BAPTIST UNION

Seventy-one delegates from Baptist churches in Canterbury met in Christchurch on Saturday for the annual meetings of the Canterbury auxiliary of the New. Zealand Baptist Union. The incoming president is Mr J. W. Thomas, of the Lincoln Road Church. An exchange of pulpits was arranged for city and suburban churches yesterday. The guest speaker for the meetings, which will be continued to-day, is the Rev. R. L. Fursdon, of Wellington. a past-president. of the Baptist Union of New Zealand.
