Total New Zealand casualties in the, Navy, Army, and Air Force to the end of April were 25,372, compared with 43,023 at the comparable date in 1918, the end of March. These figures were given to-day by the Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. P. Fraser) when his attention was drawn to a statement by Mr Attlee in the House of Commons. Mr Fraser said that the figures of casualties for New Zealand forces quoted by Mr Attlee were for the first three years of the war. fill the end of August of last year. The latest New Zealand casualty figures, to April, were as follows: Air Army. Navy. Force.
