ACCIDENTS

LEG FRACTURED When the motor-cycle which he was riding collided with a car at the corner of Edgeware road and Madras street yesterday afternoon, Frederick Buchanan, aged 58 years, a building contractor, of 26 Francis avenue, St. Albans, fractured his left leg. He v. as admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital, where his condition is reported to be satisfactory. CONDITION STILL SERIOUS Mrs Florence McLellan, aged 70. of 26 Dunn street, is still on the seriously ill list at the Christchurch Public Hospital. She was admitted to hospital on Saturday suffering from extensive burns received when her dress crught alight as she was attending to a fire.
