ALAN LOVEDAY BENEFIT CONCERT

Christchurch's final effort in aid of the fund to send- Alan Loveday overseas will be a benefit concert in the Theatre Royal on Thursday night Alan's playing will be the chief attraction, but the supporting programme will include items by the Male .Voice Choir, the Liederkranzchen. and the Orpheus Choir. Soloists will be Miss Ailsa Nicol and Mr Len Barnes. Lighter entertainment will be provided by Miss Peggy Holmes's skating waltz ballet, and an amusing one-act comedy will be given by Miss Pessie Hollander and party.. The committee has more than £2OO in hand towards Christchurch's contribution to the fund.
