STAVELEY WOMEN’S INSTITUTE

♦ The monthly meeting of the Staveley Women’s Institute was held witn Mrs W. Norman presiding. The librarian “reported the purchase-of several new books. Mesdames Pawsey and Durran were elected to represent the Staveley Institute at the federation meeting at Methven. The roll-call was ‘‘My Greatest Extravagance.” Miss R. Robins, Association for. Country Education tutor, gave a lecture on the balanced diet.
