MOUNTAINEERING
CANTERBURY CLUB
The fourteenth annual general meeting of the Canterbury Mountaineering and Tramping Club was held in the Pioneer Amateur Sports Club’s rooms. The president, Mr W. A. Kennedy, presided over an attendance of some 50 members.
In reviewing the last season, the president congratulated members oh a successful year, and paid a tribute to the editor of the club’s annual magazine, the “Canterbury Mountaineer.” The election of officers resulted as follows; President- Mr W. A. Kennedy; vice-presidents, Professor R. Speight, Dr. E. Teichelmann, Messrs C. J. Thornton. S. D. Meares, F. J. Hulston. G. E. Mannering, E. R. Williams, A. C. Graham, R. R. Chester, E. M. Wilson, J. D. Pascoe. and C. Warden: honorary photographer and recorder, Mr J. W. Mitchell; honorary treasurer, Mr R. J. Allen; honorary sevretary, Mr A. G. Flower; assistant honorary secretary, Mr R. T. Burgess; honorary auditor, Mr Charles Buchanan; committee, Messrs W. Barnett, D. Apperley, F, Gilett, T. T. Robins, N. Barker, and C. G. Buchanan.
