Special Meeting of the Kowai County Council, held on the' 9th day of September, 1938, a Resolution was passed, the object or purport of which is hereunder set but and will be submitted for confirmation as a special oraer at the ordinary meeting of the Council, to be held on the 14th day of OCTOBER, 1938, at the hour of 10 a.m., at the County Council Office, Balcairn. The object or purport of the said Resolution is to constitute the area of land within the County edged with green on the plan deposited at the Council office, and referred to in the Petition to the Council by Henry May and others bearing date the 17th day of June, 1938, a Drainage District to be known as "The Leithfield Drainage District" for the construction of drainage works therein.
