CELEBRATION OF DOMINION DAY
FUNCTIONS HELD IN STDTfWt (Received September 26, 10 pan.) SYDNEY, September *. Dominion Day was celebrated; in Sydney to-day by a reception-given by the New Zealand Government Commissioner (Mr W. Taylor). : It was attended by a large number of prominent persons including representatives of the Federal and State Governments, members of Parliament, consuls, trade commissioners, businessmen, and representative citizens. The New Zealand Women's Association held a very successful ball to-night. -'"/ New Zealand returned soldiers resident in Sydney held a smoke concert in the week-end and the soldiers attended a special service at Woollahra yesterday. Receptions were also held in Melbourne and other. Australian State capitals.
