STUDY OF PRICE FIXATION
NEW SOUTH WALES OFFICIALS TO VISIT N.Z. (uirrrts p*es» msociatioh —coptbiowt ) SYDNEY, September 26. To prepare a report on the price- \ fixing machinery in New Zealand, the Auditor-General of New South Wales (Mr J. Spence), accompanied by Mr P. J Dunsworth, of the State Audit Department, have left by the Wanganella. The Government's concern at reports that commodities are rising beyond a fair price in New South Wales is one of the reasons that have prompted Mr Spence's trip, but the main reason i is said to be the Government's desire to be informed on the methods adopted by New Zealand for fixing the price of bread and flour.
