DUPLICATION OF TRAM TRACK

The duplication of the tram track in Cashel street, from High street to a point beyond Madras street, will be undertaken by the Christchurch Tramway Board when the present centring of the track on the Riccarton route is completed, according to a decision made at a meeting of the board on Saturday. The centring of the remainder of the Cashel street track will be considered later.
