GYMNASTIC DISPLAY

Those nominees who are sitting members are Messrs De La Mare and Flower, Dr. Newlands, Professor von Zedlitz, arid Mr Wells. All graduates of the University of New Zealand are eligible to vote in the election.

PERFORMANCE BY Y.M.C.A. CLASS A number of gymnastic exercises by men, boys, and girls made up an excellent programme provided by the Young Men’s Christian Association gymnastic class which gave the first of its two concerts at the Radiant Hall last night. Some of the exercises provided by the men were of a very advanced standard seldom seen in New Zealand. More than 250 young people took part, all being members of the Christchurch Young Men’s Christian Association gymnasium. The second display will be held to-morrow night.
