Fire in Sydney Hotel
Fire broke out in the large Wentworth Hotel, Sydney, late on Monday night. A boy, aged 13, was killed and nine people were treated for burns, shock, and abrasions. More than 130 guests were staying at the hotel, and 80 were in bed in upper floors when the fire was, discovered. The damage is estimated at more'than £30,000. . There were several New Zealanders staying at the Wentworth Hotel at the time of the fire, including Mr arid Mrs A. Webb, of Christchurch, .
