Mrs P. S. Rutherford gave an address -on the growth and care"" of "bulb j at a meeting of the Kaikowa branch of the Women's Division of the New Zealand Furmera* Union. The speaker made special mention of preparing bulbs for show purposes. The American women's monthly magazine, "Women's Home Companion," published in New York, has been banned in Germany. ■ .
