«> AVON CLUB'S ANNUAL MEETING SUCCESSFUL SEASON REPORTED The fifty-seventh annual report of the Avon Rowing Club, presented at the annual meeting on Monday night, reviews a year successful in every way. The report states that membership for the season showed an increase—ll7 compared with 105 the previous year. Financially the club is in a sound position, a t credit of £9O 19s 6d being registered. As- r sets exceed liabilities by £1873 18s lOd. *" At regattas club crews started 41 times for 12 first places, 20 second places, and three ■ third places.
