ST. JAMES CLUB

The fifteenth annual meeting of St. James Tennis • Club was held recently. The finances were shown to be in a satisfactory state. The "report congratulated the club's A team on .reaching the final of the inter-club matches. The following officers were elected: — President, the Rev. F. Cooper; vice-presi-dents, Messrs-- C> MeKellar, F. Ricketts, the Rev. R. de Lambert, and two church- , wardens: treasurer, Mr J. S. Roberts; secretary. Miss Nola Smither; auditor, Mr C. C. Kemp; club captain, Mr P. H. Jones; committee. Misses R. Boyle. J. Chaplin, Mrs Roberts, Messrs Lummis, Grueber, Rookes, Thomas, and Roberts: delegate to Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association, Mr Jones: delegate to Sports Protection
