CIVILIANS KILLED

ROYAL AIR FORCE MACHINES CRASH

LONDON, September 16

Two civilians were killed and one was injured in two Royal Air Force mishaps. After a collision in midair one aeroplane crashed into a house at Stainford, killing a woman aged 22. Three airmen landed safely by parachutes.

A fisherman, aged 75, was fatally injured and his companion was seriously injured when their boat was struck in the Solent by an amphibian from which' the pilot was rescued before the craft sank.
