The Australian cricketers played a one-day match against an Irish team at Belfast to-day. , McCabe won the toss and Australia, batting first, .made 145 (Badcock 23, Barnes 27. McCabe 26, Waite 30). Ingrim took four for 46, and J. Macdonald five for 24. Ireland was dismissed for 84 (T. Macdonald 28). O'Reilly took three for seven and Ward five for 22). ' Australia won by 61 runs.
The Irish team was: James Macdonald, C. Billingsley, R. Cuffe, E. Ingrim, N. Lambert, E. Larmour, T. Macdonald, C. Mellon, H. Morgan, J. E. Shearer. Bradmarif:^Hassett, Chippernel'd, and McCormick stood down from the Australian'"-team. Walker was twelfth irian.
