SPRING FAIR

BOYS» HALL
The entrance hall of- the Young Men's Christian" Association buildings presented a colourful scene, decorated with spring flowers and ringed with gaily-coloured stalls for the . association's spring fair, organised by the women's auxiliaries of the Y.M.C.A. and the Boys' o°rd°n Hall. The fair was opened by the Mayor (Mr R. M Macfarlane) „ accompanied by the Mayoress, yesterday afternoon. The Mayo? said that wherever one went, one found the association giving help a'nd providing means for making friendships ■* for hundreds of -young, people. He hoped that the public would give the fair every support and that as a result of' the work of the women's auxiliary, .the association would receive wider publicity and rejicognitipn: among .citizens. r. -,. h- The-stalls artd stair-holders" are as Afternoon, tea, Mesdames./A. : R6wnthwaite, W.
