BONNEVILLE SALT FLATS (Utah), September 15.

Mr John Cobb, the British, racing motorist, in an attack on Captain G E. T, Eyston a record of 345.48 miles' an hour, averaged a speed of 350.20 miles an hour on two runs—a nev world record. On the first run he achieved a speed of 3W.«5a miles an hour. The return run was made at 34741 miles anyhow. * After the run Mr Cobb said that he did not feel nervous.
