TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS:— On Thursday. 22nd September, special horse train leaves Christchurch G. 40 a.m., arrives Orari 10.0 a.m. Takes horses in "Ug" waggons, and passengers from Christchurch, Addington, Sockburn, Templeton. and Ashburton. Passengers for Orari may travel by the 8.35 a.m. express train. On Saturday, 24th September, special passenger train, stopping only at Addington. Sockburn, Templeton, Rakaia, Ashburton, Qrari, and Temuka leaves Christchurch 9.0 a.m., arrives Orari 11.19 a.m. (in time for first race), and j Timaru 11.57 a.m. Passengers for Oi-ari Races must '■ travel by this train. They will not I be booked by the 8.35 a.m. express i train. n Return passenger tram leaves Orari 5.30 p.m., Ashburton 6.44 p.m., and_arrives Christchurch 8.15 p.m. After, leaving Ashburton. stops only at Ha- | kaia, Templeton, Sockburn, and Addington, to set down passengers.
