Extract from a letter from penft iend Arnold Gohsalves, Lahore, India:—
"India is a very rich and beautl fui place to see. There are manj
places in India which X have not the good fortune to see, but I know for a fact that people from all over the world come to Delhi, the capital of India, and also the great 'Taj
Mahal,' in Agra. This great building was built, in the Mogul reign, and is rated as one of the wonders of the world. If is a magnificent building and under it lies the body of the Mogul queen, 'Mumtaj Mahal.'
"Bombay, Karachi, and Calcutta are the great seaports, and their harbours are very big and beautifully designed. Karachi, the great airport, would now have been
