TRIBUTE TO SIR CLUTHA
MACKENZIE
“There is no one who has done ,so much'- for the blind -as Sir Clutha Mackenzie and it is with the deepest regret that I hear of his resignation. ; I feel that everyone owes him a debt or gratitude,” said' Mr Henry Holland aa social gathering'of the; blind, held, in the* CouriciT Chambers under the auspices of the Pearson Memorial Fund. Mr Holland said that be was sure that there was no one v who would have stood the trials and persecutions to which Sir Clutha Mackenzie had been subject for the last 10 years, and not resigned long before.It was decided to write to Sir Clutha Mackenzie thanking him for all he had dime for. the blind.
