A membership of 240, including 14 life members, was reported to the annual meeting of the Friends of Christchurch Cathedral Association, held last night in St. Luke’s schoolroom. Dean Julius presided. A A The annual report stated that, the credit balance at the beginning of the year was £lsl 14s 2d, and at the close of the year it was £221 19s lOd. The election of officers resulted: — President. Bishop West-Watson; vicepresidents. Canon A. H. Norris, the Hon. Sir R. Heaton Rhodes, Messrs J. E. Garland, J, Ballantyne, and H, D.

Andrews; committee. Dean Julius (chairman), Archdeacon A. K. Warren, Mesdames F. J. Reynolds, Norton Francis, C. M. Hendrie, W. A. Day, Misses M. Cotterill and L. B. Sanders. Dr. E. J. Cooke, Messrs G. Baker and C, M. Saunders; honorary secretary and treasurer, Mr C. H. Clemens; honorary auditor, Mr E. S. Ellyett. After the meeting a short musical programme was presented lader the 1 direction of Mr C. Foster Browne, and supper was served.
