CONTRACTS FOR STATE HOUSES
(press association telegram.) WELLINGTON, September 14. The Parliamentary Under-Secretary in charge of Housing. Mr J. A. Lee, announced to-day that the following contracts for Christchurch had been approved: Paynter and Hamilton. Ltd., 28 single-house units, and one twohouse unit at Bryndwr; J. W. Harris, eight single-house units and five twohouse units at Woolston. Westport: W. H. Woodcock, tw r o single-house units.
