CHRISTCHURCH ORPHEUS CHOIR
REQUEST CONCERT TO-NIGHT
The Christchurch Orpheus Choir will give its request concert in the Radiant Hall to-night. The choir is a very popular institution, its functions being to assist all things musical and charitable organisations. It consists of 42 chosen voices, all of them having been associated with the choir since its inception. Its conductor, Mr F. C. Penfold, has brought the standard of its work to a very high level. Mr Noel Newson is the official accompanist of the choir, and at this concert, will be heard in some brilliant piano works. The leading Christchurch soloists will also be heard. The works to be given by the choir are well chosen and are of a melodious and inspiring type.
