NO, 4263, IN the MATTER of the COMPANIES ACT 1928 and IN the MATTER of ALLIED MOTOR INTERESTS, LIMITED. XTOTICE is hereby given that by an Order dated the 29th day of August, 1938, His Honour the Chief Ji\stice has directed separate meetings of (i) the preferred ordinary shareholders and (ii) the ordinary shareholders in the abovenamed Company to be convened for the purpose of considering and if thought fit approving with or without modification the scheme of arrangement proposed to be made between the said Company and the holders of suchi preferred ordinary and ordinary shares respectively. The said meetings will be held on Tuesday the 18th day of October, 1938, at 51 William street Melbourne in the State of Victoria as regards the meeting of the said preferred ordinary shareholders at 11 o’clock in the forenoon and as regards the said ordinary shareholders at 11.15 o’clock in the forenoon at which place and respective times all the aforesaid preferred ordinary and ordinary shareholders are requested to attend. A copy of the said scheme of arrangement and of the said resolution last above referred to may be inspected and forms of proxy for the said meetings may be obtained at the offices of Messrs Hedderwick Footes & Alston the solicitors to the said Company at 103 William street Melbourne and the holders of the said preferred ordinary shares and the holders of the said ordinary shares may attend such meetings respectively and vote in person or by proxy. ; The aforesaid Order appoints Francis George Livingstone Harding or failing him Percy Lees Strong to act as Chairman of the said meetings and directs the Chairman to report the result of the said meetings to the Court. The above-mentioned scheme will be subject to the subsequent approval of the Court.
