♦ TINWALD There was only a medium yarding of fat sheep at the Tlnwald stock sale yesterday, and prices showed an easing tendency when compared with those realised at Ashburton last week. The best price Of" the sale was 28s 7d for a pen of five wethers sold on account of A. (Riverside). Ewes brought up to 20s 10d. this price being secured for a pen oi three entered by T. Brand (Wakanul), 4 at 18s 7d; T. McCormick (Lowcliffe). 52 at 10s 7d to 20s lOd; T. M. Hampton (Tlnwald), 18 *t 8s lOd to 15s 7d; clients, 71 at 11s 4d to 20s 7d. „ Fat Wethers—On account of Miller’s Estate (Lagmhor), 9 at 20s lOd to 21s Id; C. Brand (Wakanul). 1 at 21s; T. INVERCARGILL, September 13. The yarding at the Lorneville stock sale to-day was slightly smaller than last weekf but the entry of fat sheep was up. There wfere almost equal proportions of ewes and wethers. The yarding included Borne light, unfinished wethers which fell 1» to Is 6d on last week s rates. A fairly big yarding of fat cattle included a fair number of good quality medium- weight bullocks.. Values all through the section were slightly up on last week.
