SPRING FLOWERS
ro thi cditoi or rn» rttss Sir,—The other day at a women's meeting, a competition on spring flowers caused a difference of opinion. It was questioned whether some flowers such as daphne and stock had the right to come under that heading. Can any of your readers tell me the definition of spring flowers, and if flowers blooming through the winter are entitled to be called spring flowers?— Yours, etc., ETHEL BOYD. Kaikoura, September 12, 1938.
