MOTION TO ASK OFFICERS TO VACATE SEATS
Notice that Ijp will move at a general meeting of the Christchurch Tomato and Stone-fruit Growers' Association on Saturday, that all officers of the association vacate their seats, has been given by Mr F. E. Reaby, a member of the executive committee. The full text of Mr Reaby’s notice of motion is as follows: — 1. “That in view of the unsatisfactory state of affairs in our association all officers vacate their seats.” 2. “That an election of officers be held immediately.” 3. “That this general meeting of members instruct the secretary to call a special general meeting of members in accordance with paragraph 1, rule 8, which reads: ‘A committeeman may be removed by a two-thirds majority at a special general meeting called for the purpose.'"
