SOUTH SEA ISLANDS’ NOT-SO-MAGIC EFFECT
One strange effect caused by the change from New Zealand climate to the warmer temperatures of the tropics is related in this letter received from a passenger on a steamship passing through the South Seas. “When we entered the tropics,” she writes, “strangely enough nearly everybody caught a slight cold. I understand that this is quite usual, and it is nothing much more than a huskiness and a ‘frog’ in the throat, but it made me wish I had some Baxters Lung Preserver with me.” From all over the world come letters of praise for New Zealand’s greatest cough remedy—Baxters Lung Preserver. “Baxters” is befet for all coughs, colds, sore throats, and most bronchial ailments.
Rich, red, warming, soothing, “Baxters” quickly brings relief by reducing inflammation and cutting phlegm. “Baxters” has a tonic action, too, to help set you up after a heavy cold or bout of influenza. Children love it. There’s nothing like “Baxters” —sold in three sizes—1/6, 2/6, and 4/6 at all chemists and stores.
