LLOYD GEORGE'S "NEW DEAL"
« —— - SUPPORT FOR SOME SCHEMES LONDON, March 10. The "Observer," welcoming the fact that a Cabinet committee will examine Mr Lloyd George's "new deal" proposals, hopes that Ministers realise that if they do not adopt a considerable number of his schemes they will greatly worsen their own standing in the eyes of the public, which definitely favours subsidising work instead of idleness.
