RUSSLEY LADIES' CLUB A Stableford bogey match will be played next Thursday. This will be the final match for the summer season. The flag match played last Thursday was won by Miss McCrostie, who carried the flag to the nineteenth hole. HORORATA CLUB The official opening of the Hororata Golf Club, which was held on Saturday, attracted the best attendance on the opening day since the inception of the club. The fairways and greens were jn good order. The patron of the club, Mr G. Hall, in declaring the season open, wished the club a successful year; Mr Hall then drove tiic first ball. A mixed foursome match was then played, which was won by Mrs B. C. Rutherford and Ross Murray. HANMER SPRINGS CLUB The March Ladies' Golf Union medal match was played during the last week.
