FAST TIMES RECORDED The trotting track on the Washdyke racecourse has never been in luster order than it was on Saturday, and this is shown by the fast times registered and the big improvement on what the winners were handicapped to do. la running third in the Timaru Cup in 4min 24sec, Rey Spec'lowered the record of 4min 24 2-ssec made by Author Jinks, and in pacing a mile in 2miu llsec Grace McElwyn established a record for a three-year-old.
