BRITISH AND FOREIGN BIBLE SOCIETY

* The annual meeting of the Bible Society will be held on Tuesday evening next in St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Cashel street, at 7.30. The occasion is important, as the Rev. A. W. Stuart, who has been the organising secretary for the last five years, will give an address of farewell to the gathering. It is hoped that the voluntary workers of the society, the branch officers and collectors will attend to meet Mr Stuart. Through increasing pressure of work, Mr W. F. Hilson, who has held the position of honorary secretary and treasurer for 10 years, has had to relinquish the work.
