CROQUET
RICHMOND TERRACE CLUB A pleasant time was spent at South Brighton on Wednesday afternoon on the Richmond Terrace croquet green. Afternoon tea was served and croquet was played. A new club was formed, and the name "South Brighton Croquet Club" was changed to the "Richmond Terrace Croquet Club." A beautiful day and pleasant surroundings helped to make everything ideal. The following committee was elected:—Mrs Bellamy (president), Mrs G.' Weavers (honorary secretary), Miss Skipworth (treasurer), Mrs J. Wilson, Mrs F. Barrett, Mrs Melhuish. Mrs H. Oliver, and Mrs Cooksley. UNITED V. LINWOOD A croquet match was played at Linwood between United anil Linwood Junior B teams on Wednesday. The scores were (United names first) : Doubles—Mrs Andrews and Mrs Adkins 20, Jlrs Lutton and Mrs Browne 24; Mrs Hamilton and Mrs Mnlcolmson 20, Mrs Kowe and Mrs Marshall 19; Mrs Stewart and Mrs Roxburgh 26, Mrs Ostler and Mrs Timbrell 7. Singles—Mrs Andrews 8, Mrs Luttou 21; Mrs Adkins 14, Mrs Browne It; Mrs Hamilton 21, Mrs Itowa 12; Mrs Malcolmsou 10, Mrs Marshall 26; Mrs Stewart 20, Mrs Ostler 18; Mrs Roxburgh 20, Mrs Timbrell 17. s
