FUNERAL
MR THOMAS MILES The funeral of Mr Thomas Miles, "Ngapara," Fernside, which took place at the Rangiora Anglican cemetery yesterday afternoon, was largely attended by relatives and friends, and by farmers of the Fernside and surrounding districts. The services in the chapel at the cemetery, and at the graveside were conducted by the Ven. Archdeacon A. C. Purchas, of St. John's Anglican Church, Rangiora. The pall-bearers were Mr Miles's four grandsons, Messrs A. Smith, G. Smith, W. Smith, T. Smith (Fernside), son-in-law, Mr F. Teague (Cheviot), and a friend, Mr R. Morris (Fernside).
