PROGRAMME FOR TO-DAY [THE PKESS Special Service.] AUCKLAND, March 8. Conditions promise to be very favourable for the opening of the Waikato Racing Club's meeting at Te Rapa tomorrow. Pukelaha High-weight Handicap— King Mestor, King Key, Record Flight. President's Handicap—Star Artist, Scotland, Lucidus. Pecreseourt Hack Handicap—Gay Rose, Lap Up, Nun Nicer. The Oamaru Jockey Club has decided to adopt the 75-25 per cent, wir totalisator, and the usual place machine for the autumn meeting. Th( Dunedin District Committee has ad vised the club that as the Kurov Jockey Club had abandoned the meeting to have been held on March 16, < totalisator permit was available to th< club whose application was approvec by the District Committee. Th< Oamaru Club decided to apply for ; permit for the meeting on May G, tin occasion of a public holiday for the King's jubilee.
