EMBARGO HELD TO BE INVALID

TASMANIAN POTATOES FOR VICTORIA MELBOURNE, March 7. The Victorian Ministry's embargo on the importation of Tasmanian potatoes was declared to be invalid by the Full Court of the High Court of Australia. The court upheld the Tasmanian Attorney-General's claim that the embargo and the proclamation imposing it were illegal.
