CORSAIR CLUB FIXTURES March 12—Opening carnival dance. March 17—Motor Sunday. March 26 "At Home." April 19, 23—Excursion to Rotorua. April 20—Excursion to Queenstown, Dunedin, and Eglinton Valley. NOTES Bright sunshine helped the members of the Corsair Club to make a great success of their sports day at Springston Domain. Many members and friends were present. The officials handled a large entry with precision. The first event was a speed estimating contest, held with the ride out. With sealed speedometers, a number of competitors failed to keep to their appointed schedule. No one managed to arrive right on time, the nearest being A. Laurenson, one minute slow, with D. McKay, second, two minutes fast, and O. Evans, third, two and a half minutes fast. ' The events resulted:— Paper Scramble (pillion)— Miss N. Cooper and C. Sheard 1, Miss R. Uren and H.
