CITRUS FRUIT EMBARGO EFFECT ON NEW ZEALANDERS AT NORFOLK ISLAND PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) AUCKLAND. March 7. ' "Because of the embargo upon Australian citrus fruits, some 200 or 300 New Zealanders at Norfolk Island have been left high and dry," said Mr Harvery Turner at a meeting of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce to-day. He added that because of the embargo the shipping service was cancelled, but he understood it would be revived if the embargo were lifted. It was decided to ask the Government to exempt Norfolk Island from the embargo. SYDNEY MARKETS J (Received March 7. 9.45 p.m.) SYDNEY. March 7.
