CHILLED BEEF TRADE 1 AFFECTED 1 BRISBANE. March 6. .The abattoir strike, which has now lasted three weeks, has already cost the state about £78,000. The strike is having a serious effect on the chilled meat industry, as five ships have been turned away without freights.
