AUSTRALIAN MEAT IMPORTS

I —* — EARGAINING POINT SUGGESTED LONDON, March 5. In the House of Commons, Mr G. Lambert asked the Secretary of State for the Dominions (Mr J. 11. Thomas) whether, seeing that British exports of window glass to Australia were fixed at a much lower quota than Belgian, he would take advantage of it as a ground for limitation of Australian imports of meat to Britain. Mr Thomas, replying, said that all relevant considerations would be considered in negotiations with Australia, about which British agriculturists would be informed. Negotiations would begir when the Dominion Prime Ministers had arrived.
