CHRISTCHURCH ORCHESTRAL SOCIETY

The annual meeting of subscribers and performing members of the Christchurch Orchestral Society Incorporated will be held next Wednesday evening in the practice room at the Toe H Hall, Gloucester street. The statements of receipts and payments for the period ending December 31. 1934, show a balance at the bank of £4 7s 8d and a balance in hand of 15s 7d. Subscriptions amounted to £62 13s 6d and donations to £l. During the year there were three concerts, from which the gross proceeds were £3l 6s 6d, but the expenses incurred were £74 8s 7d. An honorarium of five guineas was paid to the conductor.
