* CIIRISTCHURCH LADIES* CLUB A Canadian bogey foursome competition will be played on the opening day of the Christchurch Ladies' Golf Club, Wednesday, March 13. Players are asked to choose their own partners and opponents. Members will be the guests of the club at afternoon tea. HAREWOOD CLUB The official opening of the Harewood Club will take place next week-end. The president, Mr L. P. Symes, will declare the course open at 9 o'clock, after which the opening day matches will be played as follows:—Mixed or otherwise fourball bogey in the morning and a mixed or otherwise Canadian foursome in the afternoon. Members are to arrange their own partners and opponents and starting times may be booked with the secretary. DUNSANDEL CLUB TO BUILD PAVILION A meeting of the Dunsandel Golf Club was held on Tuesday evening, with Mr W. Gardiner in the chair. Mr A. Couch, the secretary, was instructed to go on with the arrangements for the building of a pavilion.
