The train was held jup for several minutes while the I line was cleared. j The train broke its own record on the run back Lo London, which | it did in 3hr 50min 45sec. main- { taining 10G.(i miles an hour lor 12.3 i miles, the greatest distance travelI led at such a speed by any loco- | motive. j The drivers on both journeys j were more than 60 years of age.
